The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released the 2025 Medicare costs, including premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance for Part A, Part B, and Part D. Here’s a breakdown of what shoppers can expect in 2025 with updates on income-related adjustments.
Medicare Part B Costs (2025)
Medicare Part B covers outpatient services, such as doctor visits, lab tests, and durable medical equipment. Each year, the cost of Part B premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance is set based on the Social Security Act.
In 2025, the standard monthly premium for Part B will increase to $185.00, a $10.30 increase from 2024. The annual deductible will also rise to $257.00, up by $17.00 from last year.
For those who require immunosuppressive drug coverage after a kidney transplant, the premium will be $110.40 in 2025.
Part B Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amounts (IRMAA)
